University of Utah now has Cry Closet that students can use as safe space to cry

A student project that’s different.

The University of Utah has a closet where students can enter and cry, one at a time.

“Just let it all out,” university spokeswoman Jana Cunningham told the station.

“Let yourself just get away from your studies for the next 10 minutes.”

The closet has only a few rules, here’s some:

Only one person at a time.

Limit your time in the closet to no more than 10 minutes

Turn lights and timer off before leaving

Use #cryclosetuofu if posting on social media

The Cry Closet is going viral on social media.

The University of Utah Has Its Very Own “Cry Closet"

We could all use a "Cry Closet" every once in awhile. 😭
