Donald Trump has lashed out at Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren after the complete farce she tried to run through her DNA test. Trump has often blasted Elizabeth Warren for lying through her teeth and being a fraudster for saying she came from a Native American background, even though she had no documentation of her status.
Warren, who is a possible contender for the 2020 presidential ticket from the Democrats, released the results of her DNA test on Monday, which showed that she had some Native American heritage to her. But the reports suggest that her ancestors probably lived around 10 generations ago, which makes the Massachusetts Democrat only 1/1024th of a Native American.
Trump couldn’t stop himself from shaming this con artist. He mentioned on his Twitter, “Pocahontas (the bad version), sometimes referred to as Elizabeth Warren, is getting slammed.
She took a bogus DNA test and it showed that she may be 1/1024, far less than the average American. Now Cherokee Nation denies her, “DNA test is useless.” Even they don’t want her. Phony!”
He then posted another tweet saying, “Now that her claims of being of Indian heritage have turned out to be a scam and a lie, Elizabeth Warren should apologize for perpetrating this fraud against the American Public. Harvard called her “a person of color” (amazing con), and would not have taken her otherwise!”
Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. also mentioned in a statement that DNA tests cannot give evidence to lay claim to a certain tribe.
“Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong,” Hoskin said on Monday. “Senator Warren is undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage.”
