Xiaomi wants to launch its flagship device, Mi 9. However, the company decided to do it at the same time as Samsung’s Galaxy S10.
The company has confirmed that they wanted to launch the Mi 9 on the 20th of February. It seems that there was no coincidence – they did it intentionally, considering the fact that Samsung has revealed their launch date for Galaxy S10 with weeks before them.
Which one should you watch – Xiaomi or Samsung?
The launch for Mi 9 will happen in China, so you won’t have to choose between which event should make you watch, you’re probably going for Samsung’s event, which will take place in San Francisco and London.
Will Xiaomi have three back cameras?
Xiaomi decided to promote the design of the device as its selling point. We have heard before that the Mi 9 will be designed by the same person who did the Mi 6. However, they also talked about another crucial detail when they posted a photo of the back of the phone. There are three cameras on the back. We don’t know much about them yet. We don’t know much about the device itself, but we all expect to see a Snapdragon 855 chipset, and, also, an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Over the last six months, we have seen a lot of leaks of Samsung Galaxy S10. They are everywhere on the internet.
MWC has some surprises for us, too
It is worth mentioning that Xiaomi and Samsung are not the only ones who want to launch a device in February. MWC will see a lot of launches, as well. So before actually buying something, you might want to take a look at all of your options.
