We’ve all heard of Kylie Jenner. We’ve heard of the entire Kardashian-Jenner family. But not many know that at 21 years old, Kylie Jenner, the make-up star is the world’s youngest billionaire. We know this from Forbes magazine’s list of annual billionaires. Jenner is placed on the 2,057 place, with about $1 billion net worth – that’s $1.3 billion in Canadian dollars.
According to this source, Kylie is the youngest self-made billionaire ever, and she beats the co-founder and CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, who was given the 10-figure fortune in 2007 – he was only 23.
What’s the deal with the “self-made” thing?
However, we’re not really sure of that “self-made” thing. Everyone debates over it. She is part of the Kardashian-Jenner wealthy family, and she has been on TV ever since she first appeared in “Keeping up with the Kardashians” in 2007 – she was ten at that time.
Where does she have all of her money?
Jenner is also a model, but Forbes says that her entire wealth comes from the success of her makeup company, called Kylie Cosmetics, in which she owns a 100% stake in.
The sales of Kylie Cosmetics were a huge deal last year, after she launched a deal with the U.S beauty store chain called Ulta. Jenner also influences her 180 million social media followers in order to market her products, and because the company has only seven full-time employees, which means it has low overhead, the Kylie Cosmetics company is believed to have about $900 million.
It’s worth mentioning that none of the family members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan has made it into the Forbes’ 2019 billionaires list.
