Google Earth Knows Everything – The Eye In The Sky

As we all know the internet is a big mysterious world that basically controls us. Google, for example, appeared in 1998 and the developers were Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Since then all the online activities made on Google was tracked down.

Google used to be the first and only internet company that helped people around the world to search for anything they want by using data that people posted. But it did not take too long for other companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Uber, Amazon etc. to join the game. Is not hard to see that these companies are taking over our lives. We all have them on our phones or computers, and it is fair to say that they make our lives easier. But the fact that you have an account on any of them, make is possible for the company to know where, when and what you do. There is no true privacy when it comes to internet.

In 2016, Google was installed on 82% of Android’ devices and by 2017 there were over 2 billion users. The Google Company benefits of billions of searchers, Gmail contacts and YouTube plays. So you can imagine the access they get to our history search and even emails. In 2018, Alphabet, which is in 50 countries became the ‘second most valuable public company’ in the world, Apple, of course, is the first. This company, Google’s parent, changed the money transaction from using the money to data.

There are many other companies that still depend on Google for existence but Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, Lyft and Uber managed to build their own business by having apps on devices. The rule is simple: the more you access one of them, the more data they get. Google knows everything, as Eric Schmidt the Google’s former CEO himself said we do not even have to type something because they already know where we are and what we want. Sound scary right?

Brin and Page built this powerful global corporation to be practical and useful all around the world but now a new internet consumer appeared. Google Earth seems that it can spy on schools, agencies, police departments and so on. So basically the same platform is now helping the US government to spy on us.
