Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the most famous congresswoman right now, but we cannot find her anywhere in New York. She definitely has no district office and no local phone number, if we are to compare her to the other three freshman members.
We’re not even sure if the 29-year-old woman, who is the representative of the Bronx and Queens really even lives in the Parkchester neighborhood – a place that was tied to her rise. She won over Joe Crowley, when accusation that his home in Virginia made him focus on Washington way too much.
Cortez had made the most out of their deceased father’s Bronx condo when it came to her voter registration in 2012, and she posed in a one-bedroom Bronx flat for her celebrity photography in a Vogue magazine after the election. But there is no indication that she lives there right now.
The Post has e-mailed the spokesman of Ocasio-Cortez, who’s name is Corbin Trent. About four e-mails were sent with questions, but they all were ignored. On Saturday, they tried to call him. He said that they wouldn’t make any comments. He refused to answer where the woman lives.
She said she would talk
On Saturday night, someone from the staff promised the Post that the congresswomen would talk to them after the speaking event in Corona. What’s funny, is that during the event, two people from her staff were seen reading previous posts about this matter on their phones. The congresswoman then told the reporter to come downstairs, because she has to taken a picture quick. He told him to wait for her. Twenty minutes later, she just left.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was in New York City last weekend, and this weekend also, she appeared in Queens, but she was not seen coming or going from the Parkchester flat on any day.
