“Surely the whole community is saddened because it was a man who was appreciated by all,” said District 2 Councilor Serge Deschênes. He is a man who has served his whole life. He has served others all his life at the union, political and municipal levels. He was a hard worker and he served until the end, even in the last days yet. ”
André Lepage has been involved in municipal politics for 12 years. He had been a municipal councilor for four years before becoming mayor eight years ago.
Quickly, many sympathy messages appeared on his Facebook page after the news of his death began to circulate.
