Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made an appearance at inaugural Bloomberg Global Business Forum in New York wearing Star Wars character Chewbacca socks.
The event is meant to bring business leaders and politicians closer together to form relationships on a global level.
As Trudeau showed off his nerdy side, Twitter users expressed their thoughts on how immature he really is.

He gets called a poser.
Justin Trudeau is NOT George H.W. Bush.
Stop with the socks, poser.

This isn’t the first time Trudeau’s outfit included colourful socks, many of Trudeau’s foreign trips included socks representing something that doesn’t represent Canada.
Let’s only hope he changes his tone to make Canada look more professional on the world stage.
