Toronto students certified to the Portuguese language

More than 90 children from various schools in Toronto received their Portuguese language proficiency diploma.

The initiative, promoted by the Camões Institute in Toronto, Caixa Geral de Depositors and the Portuguese Consulate General in Toronto, aims to promote the Portuguese language among the youngest in the community.

Ana Paula Ribeiro, Coordinator of Portuguese Teaching in Canada representing the Camões Institute, Luis Barros, Portuguese Consul-General of Toronto and Marissol Ribeiro, representative of Caixa Geral de Depositors, led the ceremony.

Due to the high number of participants in the certification, the diploma award ceremony was divided into two stages, the second being scheduled for 12 February.
