Just over a month ago the Ontario NDP seemed like they had little chance to win the Ontario election on June 7, but things have turned around.
According to a new poll the Ontario NDP now lead by one point at 37 per cent while the PC official opposition stand at 36 per cent.
Doug Ford had a strong run for the PC party up until now, crushing the Liberal party and putting them in to third place, the NDP became the official opposition and have since gained momentum.
This comes just after Doug Ford announced he will lower gas prices by ten cents but stumbled to explain why how his government will make up for the lost revenue.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath was joined by the Federal NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh during the long weekend to campaign in Brampton, Ontario, which is likely to give the party another boost in the polls for the region.
Doug Ford will have to step up and win more hearts in his campaign.
Alberta and B.C. failing NDP governments, will Ontario be next?
