NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh made it clear many times he does not support Pipelines.
Judge Eleanor Dawson killed the Kinder Morgan project because the federal government did not carry out its duty to consult with affected First Nations and the National Energy Board’s report was flawed because it did not consider the issue of tanker traffic.
Thousands of jobs are put at risk and the project could now be delayed by years, but the NDP celebrate and think Canadians don’t want support the pipeline.
Singh said “this project does not benefit the interest of Canada, this project is not in the interest of working people.”

Singh is wrong because most Canadians support the Kinder Morgan pipeline, in a May Ipsos poll 56 per cent of pollsters said they support the Kinder Morgan project.
Only 24 per cent said they oppose if and 20 per cent said they weren’t sure.
Jagmeet Singh is campaigning to win the 2019 election with the NDP, but they won’t do it by going against Canadians.
